We were in town for a conference and enjoyed a lovely dinner. My friends talked about their meal for days after. I had the scallops, other guests had the Filet or pasta. Everyone left happy.

Delightful evening for our night in Norfolk. Had to try the shecrab soup and had a salad with tenderloin tips. The service was great - attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere is just wonderful.

I dream of the seafood fantasia. Drinks are ok but the food makes up for it, servers are kind and it's in the coolest old church. Will be back every time we are visiting!!!

Came here early afternoon on Mother's Day - had tried to make a reservation online but it was offline so figured we would just go and see availability since it was early and we were just 2 people. Interaction with the host stand at first was ok, but then she made a big deal about us not having a reservation and gave some absurd time of waiting til 7:30 (it was 4pm), as though it was a huge problem we didn't make a reservation. We were like - ok well thanks... and then she was like "oh or you can find bar seating." It was such a turn off, you can tell they're not great about managing reservations but also, making you feel like "why would you even come here without a reservation?" This isn't New York, it's Norfolk. I'd expect a way better welcoming attitude and also, it's not like we didn't try to make one? It was weird. Anyway - we don't mind eating at the bar, so that's what we did and the bar staff was wonderful! So pleasant and accommodating, and they had said how busy they had been but were still very nice and attentive. Food was good, I got the bbq salmon, French onion soup needed a little more seasoning but still good, and my husband got the Cajun penne, also very good. We would come back, hopefully the host just had an off day. Ambiance is cool, being at an old church.

Ambiance was incredible, great food, and even better service. Our team met for a work dinner and loved everything from the drinks to the apps and all the way through dinner. Ps, don't forget a bread pudding for the table

This place is sooo pretty. It has been around since the 19th century and was once a church. It has the high cathedral ceilings and stained glass windows. They reinvented the inside and now it has a huge dining room and a small bar area. We got a high top in the bar and ordered an app and a meal to split. The shrimp dish we had was fantastic. The beef caprese was okay but not my favorite. They have a great menu and if I lived her this would be a frequent stop!
